Come, Follow Me; Simply Family Home Evening FHE lessons: Mar 11-17 "These Twelve Jesus Sent Forth

The title for this week's lesson in Come, Follow Me is "These Twelve Jesus Sent Forth." We will be studying Matthew 10-12; Mark 2; and Luke 7 and 11. We get to talk about the 12 Apostles and (spoiler!) Whitney put together an awesome printable that can help us all learn more about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint's current First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Eeeeek! I love it! I hope you will too! We're excited to hear your ideas on how you will approach this week and how Simply Family Home Evening is most useful in your families!

As has become our habit, our plan this week is to watch the Bible Videos that go with this block of scripture on Sunday the 10th in the afternoon. Often in our family we use the Bible Videos and New Testament stories because they hold the little kids' attention well. Some of our children are very young and don't read yet. We try to make sure the kids understand on their level what happened in the video we watched. In order to make sure we are still teaching from the scriptures as well, we use the excerpts from the scriptures that are suggested in the primary manual.

If this is your first time here, make sure to check out THIS POST which will give you an overview of the layout for our lessons.
