Welcome to Simply Family Home Evening!

We are so excited that you are here! We are two sisters-in-law and neighbors, Whitney Laub and BreeAnna Laub. You can learn more about us here. Our goal is to make the new Come, Follow Me curriculum more of a lifestyle and less of a weekly lecture. It's one of the reasons we set up the lessons the way we did. We want it to feel accessible and simple so that the lesson topics can be studied all week long.

The intention of Simply Family Home Evening is not to replace your "Come, Follow Me - for Individuals and Families" manuals. Those manuals are truly inspired! We intend this blog to be used as a guide and feel we can’t say it better than this: "Follow the Spirit's guidance to determine how to approach your own study of the word of God." (Come, Follow Me - For Individuals and Families) and to not "look past the mark" as Elder Cook cautioned.

All of our discussion topics and scripture references come from the Come, Follow Me - For Primary manual. We hope that it will give you an idea of where to start with your family. Keep it simple. Don't feel you need to use every resource in every lesson. Your family is all that matters. If you are teaching them, you're doing your job.
