For Thursday: This is the day Jesus and His apostles participated in the Passover. If you want to learn more about the Passover, here is a brief overview from The New Era that will give you a good background. This was also where Christ introduced the ordinance of the Sacrament.

For Sunday: Read through and do the Easter program (found in this post)

Song: "Tell Me the Stories of Jesus," pg 57

Scripture: See John 12:1–3

An important holiday called Passover was only six days away. Many people were coming to Jerusalem so they could offer sacrifices in the temple on that day. Jesus walked to Bethany, a village near Jerusalem. He would stay there for five nights with His friends Lazarus, Mary, and Martha. Mary anointed His feet with oil.*

Activity: Jesus spent His life serving others. What are some of your favorite stories of Jesus serving others? Cut Easter eggs out of construction paper and decorate them. Draw a picture or write the scripture reference of favorite stories of Jesus serving others. How can you use Jesus’ example to better serve those around you? Write your ideas on some of the eggs. Hang two strings on your wall. On one string, hang the stories about Jesus. On the other string, hang your ideas on how you can better serve those around you. Leave them up for the month of April to remind you to serve throughout the month.
